We are a privately financed festival. We do not receive any money from the government and rely on ticket sales and donations to maintain our high standards.

mozart@augsburg receives no public subsidy. Half the income is from ticket sales and the other half from donations. We think of our donors as the family. Many have helped us since the beginning and watched mozart@augsburg achieve higher and higher artistic standards and become an essential and vibrant part of the festival calendar in Germany.
The mozart@augsburg family is celebrated at a number of exclusive parties and events.
